In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nCandidate must be located within commuting distance of Jersey City, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.\nBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.\nCandidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time\nAt least 4 years of Information Technology experience\nAt least 3 years of experience in end-to-end implementation of projects in Python, especially Python server-side backend programming\nGood understanding of OOPS concepts\nStrong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting\nStrong knowledge in RESTful APIs, Data structures, Algorithms, Collections, Multi-threading and memory management and concurrency\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSound knowledge of software engineering design patterns and practices\nExperience in Big data ecosystem using Hadoop, Spark, Scala using Python packages and libraries for large scale data\nGood understanding of Agile software development frameworks\nExperience in Banking domain\nStrong communication and Analytical skills\nAbility to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams\nExperience and desire to work in a global delivery environment\nThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
