Job Description Machine Builder / WelderPosition SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Machine Builder / Welder to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on position is responsible for fabricating, welding, assembling, and testing custom industrial machinery. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, welding experience, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.ResponsibilitiesBuild and assemble custom industrial machinery from engineering drawings and specificationsPerform MIG welding using 75/25 shielding gas on machine frames, guards, brackets, and fabricated componentsRead and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructionsUse hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication equipmentPerform quality inspections to ensure equipment meets company standardsOperate forklifts and material handling equipment safelyAssist with machine testing, adjustments, and preparation for shipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaQualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in machine building, welding, fabrication, or industrial equipment assemblyStrong MIG welding skillsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsForklift and material handling experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDependable with a strong attention to detailPreferred QualificationsExperience building converting, packaging, printing, or automation equipmentWelding experience Company DescriptionPACE Converting Equipment Company has been in business for over 40 years.
