No preparation, no grading, no parent interaction required\r\nResponsibilities Deliver engaging, personalized instruction in English and Math for K-12 students.\r\nAssess student progress and provide feedback to center staff to tailor individual learning plans.\r\nCreate a positive and motivating learning environment.\r\nUtilize Sylvan's proprietary curriculum and teaching methods.\r\nUse praise and encouragement to ensure students are engaged and inspired to learn.\r\nMotivate students with Sylvan tokens given for specific achievements according to the Sylvan instructional management standards.\r\nRecord and track tokens earned by students.\r\nParticipate in training sessions to enhance teaching skills and methodologies.\r\nMaintain a clean and organized classroom setting.\r\nSupport students in building confidence and academic skills.\r\nRequirements Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.\r\nTeaching certification or relevant experience in K-12 education.\r\nStrong understanding of English and Math curriculum standards.\r\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\r\nAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.\r\nPassion for teaching and helping students succeed academically.\r\nExperience with differentiated instruction and student assessment.\r\nPositive attitude and a commitment to fostering a love of learning.\r\nAbout Us Sylvan Learning Center has been a trusted name in education for over 40 years, dedicated to helping students reach their full potential.
