Learn more about Trident II D5 fleet Ballistic Missile.About The RoleLockheed Martin Space, Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, is seeking a Electrical Component Engineer (Level II) to join our team in Denver, CO.You will lead and/or assist in the performance of Electrical Component (Parts) Engineering, development and execution of the program Electrical Electronic Electromechanical (EEE) Parts management plan. You will evaluate new technologies and work closely with survivability, designers, test and manufacturing engineers, agencies like DLA, Part Manufacturers and Test Labs. You’ll use your education, experience and growing expertise to develop and evaluate new and innovative technology to survive in the harshest of environments and most critical strategic systems.Your roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Participate in Electrical / Electronic / Electromechanical (EEE) Parts Engineering technical assignments related to hardware design, manufacture and test Participate in the selection, qualification, test and failure analysis of EEE Parts Prepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks, prepare specifications, evaluate suppliers and analyze test reports Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement/Supply Chain organization Work on electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits (ICs), hybrids, crystals, crystal oscillators, filters, fuses, heaters, magnetics, microcircuits, relays, semiconductors, thermistors Travel and work closely with suppliers and government agencies to ensure electronic component selections meet both quality expectations and product performance requirements.The successful candidate will typically have a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or related technical field and 1+ years of related professional work experience.
