ODS is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA and also has offices/plants in Texas and North Carolina centrally located to serve clients across the country.\r\nThe Handwork Assistant will perform several duties that generally center around pulling inventory for orders and preparing shipments.\r\nDuties and Responsibilities:Completes assigned manual tasks such as scanning, kit matching, poly bagging, and sealing products.\r\nHand-inserts collated kits into envelopes or folders\r\nFollows written or verbal directions to pull inventory for basic order fulfillment.\r\nMeasures, weighs, and counts materials as instructed.\r\nInspects packaging and materials for visible defects or basic quality issues.\r\nLabels and marks products using provided tools and templates.\r\nRecords basic job information, such as quantities completed, on provided forms.\r\nAssists with loading or placing finished products in designated locations.\r\nCommunicates job status or issues to supervisor or lead when prompted.\r\nFollows safety guidelines and company policies at all times.\r\nMaintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\r\nPerforms other related duties as assigned by supervisor.\r\nQualifications & Requirements:High School graduate, or completion of GED preferred.\r\nBasic computer and database skills required.\r\nMust demonstrate a sense of urgency and attention to detail.\r\nMust be able to read and understand product SK\r\nWorking Conditions:Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work may be performed in an office, warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. Requires the ability to perform the following activities for the majority of the day: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb. In addition requires the ability to lift and/or push up to 10 pounds.
