The Electrical Testing Technician will also be responsible for documenting services by maintaining records and writing technical reports detailing field work performed.\nResponsibilities\nPerform acceptance and maintenance testing on electrical equipment per NETA standards\nOperate various testing tools and equipment including megger, digital multimeter, Hipot tester, multiamp relay tester, GFI, TTR, primary and secondary injection set, etc\nDocument services by maintaining records and writing technical reports detailing field work performed\nRead and interpret electrical control schematics and diagrams\nPerform extensive testing, problem identification, and troubleshooting\nInspect and service transformers, switchgear, and relays\nEvaluate the operating condition of equipment\nGenerate detailed reports Communicate effectively with team members and clients\nQualifications\nFundamental understanding of electrical and mechanical testing procedures\nFamiliarity with electrical test equipment and fundamentals\nExperience in performing extensive testing, problem identification, and troubleshooting\nStrong background in troubleshooting and performing start-up service\nNETA level II, III, or IV Certification preferred\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nComputer literacy\nCompensation And Benefits\nNegotiable salary based on level of expertise\nAnnual bonus\nBenefits package including, paid vacation and holidays\nNo Travel Required Outside of Arizona!!!\nThis is a full-time and permanent position that requires a highly skilled Electrical Testing Technician who is willing to join our dynamic team in Arizona.\nJob Type: Full-time\nSalary: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour depending on experience\nBenefits\nPaid time off\nVehicle Allowance\nSchedule\n8 hour shift\nMonday to Friday (1 on call weekend per month)\nWork Location: In person\nPhysical Requirements\nThis job involves both indoor and outdoor work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:\nLift, carry and/or move up to 75 pounds repeatedly.\nClimb ladders, staircases, step stools, stand, walk, sit, and operate vehicles for extended periods.\nBend, stoop, crawl and work in awkward positions or confined spaces for several hours.\nThe Employee May Occasionally Be Required To\nWork outdoors in varying weather conditions including intense heat/cold, muddy and wet environments.\nPerform precision tasks with instruments and fittings.\nCommunicate verbally and in writing.\nReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.\nElectroSense is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
