We are a world leader in naval magnetic silencing systems, militarized drives, power converters, battery monitoring systems, transformers, and turn-key engineering services.\nNationality Requirements\nCandidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities:\nWind transformers and magnetic devices, bobbins, toroid and layer windings\nTransformer mechanical assembly\nPull winding/layer winding\nAssemble and wire magnetic components\nSoldering (in-house certification will be required)\nReading winding sheets, part lists, and mechanical drawings\nMechanical assembly and reworking\nWorking with different types of wire types and installation systems\nWill be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned\nRequired Skills:\n2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or technical certificate\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nThis position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with soldering, reworking and mechanical systems.\nSkilled in the use of hand tools.\nStrong attention to detail and time management.\nAble to read and interpret specification, diagram and/or blueprints.\nAble to perform simple math (addition and subtraction, ex. look at dimension).\nGood team and people’s (interpersonal) skills. “Can do” attitude\nHigh motivation and drive.\nVerbal and written communication skills.\nGood knowledge of manufacturing techniques of electromechanical products.\nExperience in using basic manufacturing equipment, tools and gages such as: multimeters, torque and force gages, etc.\nPhysical Requirements:\nLifting and transport of units up to 20 lbs. unassisted\nPosition requires extensive standing and/or sitting, and good eye-hand coordination.\nAbility to use soldering iron\nUse of hands in a repetitive cycle\nExpected Compensation for this role: $35,000 - $45,000\nDiverse & Inclusive Employer\nUltra Maritime is an equal opportunities employer that values diversity, inclusion, equity and equality.
