{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"234880aadfb750bdfb42a03b","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/234880aadfb750bdfb42a03b","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/234880aadfb750bdfb42a03b","title":"2nd Shift Material Handler","description":"What You Will Do:\n· Work safely in an industrial warehouse environment\n· Operate equipment as trained in a safe manner (ex: sit-down forklift, order picker, pallet riders)\n· Interact professionally with leadership and co-workers in accordance with company core values\n· Perform various functions in other departments around the building as business dictates\n· Perform tasks with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy\n· Perform daily housekeeping tasks\n· Perform tasks as trained and as efficiently as possible to meet production expectations\n· Be present for all scheduled work shifts without a track record of calling out from work\n· Perform other duties as assigned including duties outside normal responsibilities as needed\n· Other duties as assigned by management\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND EXPERIENCE:\n· High school diploma/GED\n· Highly motivated individuals with positive and professional attitudes that can work independently\n· Experience with Material Handling Equipment (Forklifts, Order Pickers, Pallet Runners)\n· High level of work ethic and attendance record\n· Ability to apply common sense to daily situations\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n· Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift for extended periods of time throughout the whole shift\n· Ability to speak and hear in order to communicate with others and work safely in the warehouse\n· Ability to perform repetitive motion\n· Ability to perform heavy work to include lifting up to 50 lbs and other heavy items repetitively all shift\n· Visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading paperwork and operating equipment safely\n· Ability to work in conditions such as high heat and/or humidity and colder winter temperatures\nTRAVEL:Some travel involved\nOTHER DUTIES:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this position.
