Learn more at www.esource.com.\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign, develop, and maintain data pipelines, infrastructure, and systems using AWS, Python, Databricks, Spark, and PostgreSQL\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers\nDevelop and implement data engineering standards and best practices\nMonitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability\nResearch industry trends and evaluate new data technologies\nBuild and maintain data lakes to support analytics and business intelligence\nManage the software development life cycle and DevOps activities\nPartner with data scientists and analysts to deliver effective data solutions\nDevelop data validation and data analysis tools\nYou’re likely a great fit if you:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field\nFive or more years of experience in data engineering or a related role\nExpert proficiency in Python, SQL, Databricks, and Spark\nExperience building cloud-based data pipelines in AWS\nKnowledge of data governance, security, privacy, and retention practices\nStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills\nExperience working in agile environments using tools such as Jira\nProficiency with Git, Docker, and CI tools such as Jenkins\nPassion for data and continuous improvement\nPreferred qualifications:\nAbility to work independently and proactively\nExperience optimizing ETL workflows in Databricks\nKnowledge of data lineage and data quality practices\nExperience supporting data science and machine learning solutions\nPrior experience in the energy or utility industry\nMaster’s degree in a relevant STEM field\nAt E Source, you’ll work alongside people who are thoughtful, curious, and deeply knowledgeable about utility and energy systems.
