This includes:\r\nBuilding cloud-native APIs in Python (FastAPI) on AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS Fargate)\r\nDefining OpenAPI 3.1 specs and generating SDKs (PHP, JS) for seamless integration\r\nOptimizing performance with caching, idempotency, rate limiting, and request deduplication\r\nEngineering fault-tolerant systems with circuit breakers and policy-based routing\r\nImplementing observability dashboards using CloudWatch and Datadog\r\nOrchestrating async jobs via SQS, Step Functions, and EventBridge\r\nCollaborating with product teams to ensure smooth developer experience\r\nDriving cost and model quality optimization initiatives\r\nWhat You Bring\r\n5+ years backend development experience\r\n3+ years with Python (FastAPI preferred), async programming, and streaming\r\n2+ years working with distributed/cloud-native systems\r\nProven experience designing REST APIs with OpenAPI 3.1\r\nFamiliarity with LLM platforms (Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI, Gemini, etc.)\r\nSolid understanding of security best practices and CI/CD workflows\r\nBonus Points For\r\nExperience with semantic caching, vector databases, or RAG architectures\r\nFamiliarity with AI/ML evaluation pipelines and prompt management\r\nWhy This Role Stands Out\r\nYou'll be building the central nervous system for all AI-powered features—high visibility, high impact, and a mandate to deliver reliability, performance, and security at scale.
