We are looking for a QA Engineer to work onsite in Washington, DC with our global client.\r\nOverview\r\nThe Salesforce QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce solutions delivered across the Phoenix project. The role focuses on validating functional and non-functional requirements through structured testing approaches, ensuring that all deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria and quality standards.\r\nThe QA Engineer works closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners to design and execute comprehensive test strategies across Salesforce components, including CRM, External Portal, and Project Processing solutions.\r\nJob Description\r\nDefine and implement test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.\r\nAlign testing approach with overall program delivery model and release timelines.\r\nEnsure testing activities are planned across all stages (SIT, UAT, regression, release validation)\r\nTest Case Design & Execution\r\nDevelop detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on user stories and requirements.\r\nExecute test cases across Salesforce configurations, integrations, and custom components.\r\nValidate that delivered features meet functional requirements and acceptance criteria.\r\nDefect Management & Quality Assurance\r\nIdentify, log, track, and manage defects through resolution lifecycle.\r\nWork closely with developers and Business Analysts to ensure timely defect resolution.\r\nPerform root cause analysis and support continuous quality improvement.\r\nIntegration & End-to-End Testing\r\nValidate integrations between Salesforce and external systems (APIs, middleware, data interfaces).\r\nEnsure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.\r\nSupport system integration testing (SIT) and cross-platform validation scenarios.\r\nUser Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support\r\nSupport business stakeholders during UAT cycles by preparing test data, scenarios, and validation criteria.\r\nTrack UAT progress, issues, and sign-offs.\r\nEnsure alignment between UAT outcomes and business expectations.\r\nContribute to test automation frameworks and identify opportunities to automate repetitive test cases.\r\nSupport CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into deployment processes.\r\nPromote shift-left testing practices and continuous quality validation.\r\nReporting & Quality Metrics\r\nMaintain test execution reports, defect logs, and quality dashboards.\r\nTrack and report key metrics such as test coverage, defect density, and defect leakage.\r\nProvide transparent reporting to delivery teams and program governance structures.\r\nThe Salesforce QA Engineer is expected to produce and maintain\r\nTest strategy and test plans\r\nTest cases, scripts, and execution results\r\nDefect logs and issue tracking reports\r\nSIT and UAT testing reports\r\nTest data sets and validation artifacts\r\nAutomation scripts (where applicable)\r\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\r\nProven experience in QA/testing roles within Salesforce implementations\r\nStrong understanding of Salesforce platform components and testing approaches\r\nExperience in functional, integration, and UAT testing in Agile environments\r\nFamiliarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira)\r\nExperience with test automation tools and CI/CD integration is preferred\r\nStrong attention to detail and quality focus\r\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills\r\nAbility to validate complex business scenarios across multiple systems\r\nStrong collaboration and communication skills\r\nProactive defect identification and risk mitigation mindset\r\nWork closely with IFC delivery teams, implementation partners, and business stakeholders\r\nSupport quality assurance across Salesforce workstreams and Phoenix pillars (Relationship Management, External Portal, Project Processing)\r\nEnsure testing is integrated into Agile delivery cycles (sprint, release, post-MVP)\r\nContribute to continuous improvement of QA processes within the program\r\nTools & Technologies\r\nTest management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent)\r\nSalesforce environments (Sandboxes, QA, UAT)\r\nAutomation tools (as applicable for CI/CD pipelines)\r\nIntegration testing tools and frameworks\r\nExperience Matrix for Levels\r\nLevel III: 8+ years of experience\r\nNTT DATA is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
