We are seeking an additional leader to help continue building upon our market-leading solutions that help courts and public safety organizations of all sizes.\r\nIn this role, you will lead a multi-discipline team to deliver solutions in concert with peer teams in support of a unified product vision. You will work in a dynamic and challenging environment utilizing an agile development methodology to deliver products to market.\r\nHybrid Work Policy: This is a hybrid position where the candidate is required to be in the Franklin, TN office 3 days per week.\r\nPlease note: We are not considering candidates who require visa sponsorship for this position. This is a budgetary decision and due to the significant talent available currently who do not require such sponsorship.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nOversee all aspects of software development and lead a team of professionals in analysis, engineering, quality assurance, and/or automation engineering.\r\nInteract with peer groups such as architecture, operations, and other product teams.\r\nFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\r\nMaintain awareness of cloud technology trends and new capabilities to support innovation.\r\nDrive the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile development methodologies.\r\nLead the team in using AI to improve productivity, code quality, and development workflows, while promoting responsible adoption.\r\nImplement and oversee DevOps practices to streamline the software development lifecycle.\r\nLead project design and effort estimation sessions, challenging your team to succeed in both the short term and the long term.\r\nCoordinate and contribute to the prioritization of projects within the team.\r\nWork with peers to balance development roadmap projects with escalation of operational issues.\r\nContribute to a strategy of year-over-year improvement to the product and evolution of the underlying platform.\r\nIdentify and implement key performance indicators for measuring and improving team effectiveness.\r\nCommunicate and drive internal work to meet deliverables.\r\nCoach your team for employee growth and development.\r\nPerform staff evaluations.\r\nRecommend and contribute to process improvement initiatives, including product enhancements and internal/external education.\r\nCommit to expanding your technological skills and maintaining advanced knowledge of the Corrections Solutions products.\r\nQualifications\r\nAssociate degree in a related field or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.\r\nMinimum of 4 years of experience in a leadership-oriented software position.\r\nExcellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, teamwork, and customer service.\r\nStrong time management and the ability to meet deadlines.\r\nAbility to make sound, effective, and timely decisions and solve complex problems.\r\nAbility to negotiate and partner internally and externally, with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\r\nExperience with SaaS product delivery.\r\nStrong understanding of DevOps principles and experience implementing DevOps tools and practices.\r\nAgile experience required.\r\nScrum Master certification preferred.\r\nSolid understanding of SDLC principles and methodologies.\r\nExperience in requirements gathering and analysis.\r\nStrong organizational skills.\r\nStrong analytical ability, particularly in a technical environment.\r\nOccasional travel ability.\r\nLocation\r\nFranklin, Tennessee\r\nTravel\r\n0–5%\r\nTaking Care of You & Your Family\r\nYour health and well-being are important to us.
