This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys ownership, automation, and improving how complex systems are deployed and operated.\n\nThis is a full-time, exempt, remote position open to candidates residing in any U.S. state, with the exception of California. The starting salary for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 based on experience.\nWho Will Love This Job:\nSomeone who enjoys owning production deployments and taking responsibility for outcomes.\nSomeone energized by building automation that eliminates manual work and improves delivery consistency.\nSomeone with strong Windows and IIS experience who enjoys tuning and optimizing application hosting.\nSomeone excited to work on mobile application deployments (iOS & Android) at scale.\nSomeone interested in helping shape future platform direction, including containerized deployments.\nSomeone who values collaboration, clear communication, and practical problem-solving.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nMobile Deployment Ownership\nOwn end-to-end deployment, publishing, and configuration for iOS and Android mobile applications.\nManage App Store Connect and Google Play Console workflows, including signing, provisioning, and compliance.\nAutomate mobile build and release processes to improve consistency and reduce manual effort.\nCoordinate closely with Engineering, Product, and Professional Services teams to ensure smooth releases.\nAutomation & Infrastructure-as-Code\nDesign, build, and maintain Ansible automation for deployments, APIs, IIS configuration, certificate rotation, and environment standardization.\nUse Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure in a repeatable, auditable manner.\nReduce configuration drift by establishing infrastructure-as-code as the source of truth.\nCreate reusable automation patterns that support both mobile and backend systems.\nApplication Hosting & Platform Support\nOperate and tune IIS in Windows-based production environments, including performance optimization and safe restarts.\nApply transferable web-server concepts from Apache or Nginx where applicable.\nSupport containerized workloads (Docker/Kubernetes) and help guide their adoption as part of the platform’s future state.\nContribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements that support reliable, predictable deployments.\nWhat You Bring:\n5–8 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related roles supporting production systems.\nStrong hands-on experience with Ansible for deployment and configuration automation.\nWorking experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.\nHands-on experience deploying mobile applications (iOS & Android).\nStrong IIS experience in Windows-based production environments.\nExperience supporting production SaaS platforms and troubleshooting across application and infrastructure layers.\nScripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, C#, or Python.\nFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with Progress/OpenEdge or similar legacy platforms.\nExposure to container orchestration or platform modernization efforts.\nFamiliarity with authentication and identity flows (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\nRelevant certifications are a plus, but not required.\nWhy Sharetec\nAcquired by Evergreen Financial Technology Group (EFTG) in late 2020, Sharetec is now marching towards rapid growth and expansion into new markets.
