This includes coordination with other team members and organizational subject matter experts to create and support an integrated EHR system. Application System Analyst will be responsible for system configuration, builds, testing, report development and implementing updates to enhance the organizational value of the various information systems. Will participate in the implementation of new applications as well as upgrades and maintenance of existing systems. The responsibilities include providing status information to the application manager, as well as participating with the project team for project planning, testing, training and implementation. The Application System Analyst is also responsible for providing user support and may be required to provide off-hours on-call support.Essential ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary support contact for Epic Hospital Billing (HB)Coordinate and resolve issues across your application areaBuild, configure, and maintain Epic billing workflowsAnalyze workflows, data, and system functionality to improve performancePartner with end users to understand needs and optimize the systemPrioritize and implement system changes and enhancementsTest builds, upgrades, and new releases before go-liveSupport implementations, upgrades, and ongoing system maintenanceEnsure data coming into the system meets business and reporting needsWork with report writers to support accurate billing and reportingCollaborate with vendors and internal teams on system updates and issuesHelp define and follow build standards, naming conventions, and processesDocument workflows, build decisions, and system changesProvide day-to-day user support and troubleshootingParticipate in project planning, testing, training, and go-livesOther ResponsibilitiesAll other responsibilities as assigned in accordance with qualifications.Job QualificationsEducation: Associate's degree in computer science or other technical field or healthcare related field.Experience: Two or more years of software application support.Certification: Must be Epic HB CertifiedSkills and Abilities: Ability to prioritize, resolve conflict, and maintain issues lists. Proficient in MS office.Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills. Ability and interest in developing mastery level knowledge of assigned applications, how they are used in our organization, and how they interact with other applications and work processes.Physical RequirementsAs defined by the physical requirements and working conditions form maintained by the Occupational Health Department.
