Incumbents will develop strategies to accomplish goals, implement policies and procedures, and develop and monitor an assigned budget. Incumbents may need to perform professional level work within assignment and may supervise employees or student workers.Minimum Education and/or Training and ExperienceMaster's degree in a related field and four years of related experience, including the equivalent of two years of full-time experience teaching at the college level in one of the disciplines offered by the school of business, social science, and public service.Preferred Education and/or Training and ExperienceExperience with curriculum development, program accreditations, grant management, and Canvas learning management systemLicensing RequirementsNoneEssential Job Function These are the job duties that are required of the position.Classification DutiesSupervise staff, including prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff are trained; ensuring that employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment; and, making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations. (D6)Oversee the operation of assigned division; work may involve planning, coordinating, administering, and evaluating programs, projects, processes, strategies, procedures, systems, and/or standards related to student development, enrollment, and support services and programs; ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, codes, and/or standards. (D6)Prepare and administer budgets and grants; prepare cost estimates for budget recommendations; submit justifications for budget items; and monitors and controls expenditures. (D6)Prepare, review, interpret, and analyze a variety of complex and multi-faceted information, data, contracts, forms, schedules, calendars, surveys, and reports; makes recommendations based on findings. (D6)Serve as a liaison to employees, students, and external organizations; represent the College at a variety of meetings, public events, training sessions, on committees, on policy-making bodies, and/or other related events.
