Jimmy John's General ManagerAs Jimmy John's General Manager, you are responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations. Celebrating team successes and coaching for better performance. Setting expectations and providing clear and continuous feedback. Creating an upbeat positive atmosphere during the shift that makes work fun, maintaining and enforcing Jimmy John's safety and sanitation standards. You will be involved in training and supporting restaurant employees, ensuring that food is prepared in a clean, safe and efficient manner. We want every guest to have an enjoyable dining experience every time they come to Jimmy John's.Manager ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations of the Jimmy John's restaurant, including managing staff, handling customer complaints, and ensuring food and service quality.Train and work alongside the teamHelp manage food and labor costsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, following health and safety regulations.Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.Handle administrative tasks, such as payroll, budgeting, and scheduling.Prepares employee work schedules; monitors and makes appropriate adjustments to restaurant staffing levelsReinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times.Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests. Reports guest complaints to immediate supervisor and assists in resolving such complaintsInterview and hire restaurant crew and management team members to achieve proper staffing levelsManager Requirements:Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidaysGeneral knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations requiredMinimum of six months of restaurant management experience or one year entry level retail management experience required.
