You will engage directly with clients, translating complex technical requirements into actionable architectures and roadmaps, while also rolling up your sleeves to write code for PoCs and PoVs.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nAssess legacy application portfolios, identify modernization opportunities, and develop technical roadmaps aligned with business outcomes.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and cost-effective software solutions.\nConduct technical discovery and strategy workshops to identify pain points, define modernization approaches, and guide solution design on topics such as microservices, cloud-native architecture, DevOps, and CI/CD.\nServe as a trusted technical advisor and subject matter expert on cloud technologies and software architecture, ensuring solutions align with client objectives.\nWork with internal stakeholders to define scope, develop cost estimates and labor projections, and prepare Statements of Work (SOWs), product pricing, and RFP/RFI responses.\nDesign reference architectures, solution patterns, and migration frameworks that balance cost, maintainability, security, and performance.\nArchitect full-stack solutions that deliver measurable business value and enable teams to learn, iterate, and adopt modern delivery practices effectively.\nProvide hands-on development leadership, coding alongside teams when needed.\nAct as a thought leader by speaking at industry events, publishing white papers, and contributing to case studies.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of experience, OR a Master's degree and 4 years, OR a Ph.D. and 1 year, OR 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree\n5+ years working as an architect in cloud-native and modernization initiatives.\nHands-on expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).\nExpertise in software architecture patterns, including microservices, monolithic refactoring, event-driven architecture and serverless computing.\nExperience with containerization & orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, or, OpenShift).\nHands-on experience with application modernization initiatives from inception to production.\nStrong client-facing communication skills, with experience delivering technical presentations and engaging with business/technical stakeholders.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nAgentic software modernization methods and best practices.\nExperience with AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Kiro OpenCode, or equivalent).\nProfessional services or consulting experience, including direct client delivery.\nExperience working with global or distributed engineering teams.\n\nUSD 134,900.00 - 224,900.00 per year\n\nCompensation:\n\nCompensation includes a base salary in the range of $134,900.00 - $224,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.\n\nBenefits:\n\nThe Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
