The successful candidate will analyze plans and specifications, solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids, identify value engineering opportunities, and help position projects for successful execution.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPrepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial construction projects.\nReview drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate budgets and proposals.\nSolicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing.\nAnalyze project risks, scope gaps, and constructability concerns.\nParticipate in project handoff meetings with operations and project management teams.\nAssist in the preparation of bid packages, proposals, and presentations.\nMaintain estimating databases, cost histories, and market pricing information.\nCollaborate with project managers, superintendents, architects, engineers, and clients throughout the preconstruction process.\nIdentify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions without compromising quality.\n\nQualifications\n\n3+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor.\nExperience with corporate interiors, office buildouts, tenant improvement, or commercial renovation projects preferred.\nStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems.\nProficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and construction management tools.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
