The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service skills, and hands-on experience supporting multiple security manufacturers and software platforms.ResponsibilitiesProvide remote technical support to customers and field technicians by phone, email, remote desktop, and VPNDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system integration issuesTroubleshoot access control panels, card readers, door hardware, cameras, video servers, intrusion panels, and related devicesPerform root cause analysis and document findings, corrective actions, and resolutionsComplete system health checks, upgrades, firmware updates, and preventive maintenance reviewsConfigure users, permissions, schedules, alerts, reports, and system integrationsServe as a trusted technical resource for customers, field technicians, project managers, and internal teamsCreate detailed service notes, troubleshooting records, and resolution documentationSupport system commissioning, maintenance, upgrades, training, and project support as neededParticipate in an on-call support rotation and emergency response activities as requiredSystems and Technologies SupportedExperience with one or more of the following is strongly preferred:Access Control: CCURE 9000, Genetec, LenelS2, S2 NetBox, Brivo, Security Expert, DSX, Avigilon AltaVideo Management Systems: Milestone XProtect, Genetec, Avigilon Control Center, Eagle Eye Networks, ExacqVisionIntrusion detection systemsIntercom systemsVisitor management platformsCloud-based security platformsWindows Server environmentsTCP/IP networkingVPN and remote access toolsQualifications3–5 years of experience supporting electronic security systemsStrong knowledge of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systemsUnderstanding of Windows Server environments and TCP/IP networkingAbility to troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and integration issuesStrong communication, documentation, and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyStrong attention to detail and follow-throughPreferred ExperienceEnterprise security platform experienceSQL database knowledgeVMware or Hyper-V experienceSecurity manufacturer certificationsCloud-hosted security application support experienceExperience supporting field technicians or customers in a service environmentWhy Join BCM Controls?BCM Controls is part of Comfort Systems USA, a leading provider of building technology and mechanical services.
