Structural Drafter

We are looking for a Structural CAD Designer with strong SolidWorks experience to join our team. In this role, you'll take approved but incomplete 3D models from our sales team and turn them into final, fabrication-ready designsYou'll play a key role in ensuring models are accurate, production-ready, and aligned with engineering standards while collaborating with sales, estimating, and engineering teams.What You'll DoFinalize 3D structural models in SolidWorks from approved client conceptsAdd and define welds, bolt patterns, hole locations, and structural connectionsCreate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for productionInterpret structural drawings including plans, elevations, and sectionsEnsure models meet engineering specifications and fabrication standardsCollaborate with sales, estimating, and engineering teams to confirm final designsMaintain proper CAD standards including dimensions, annotations, layers, and revision controlWhat We're Looking ForStrong SolidWorks / CAD modeling skillsAbility to read and interpret structural drawingsKnowledge of structural steel components (beams, columns, plates, bolts, connections)Experience following standard drafting conventionsDetail-oriented with the ability to work independentlyWork SetupWeek 1: Onsite onboarding After training: Primarily remote with monthly site visits in San Bernardino, CA
