This individual will act as the senior technical authority for transmission structure and foundation engineering. Leading the analysis, design, evaluation, and enhancement of steel poles, wood poles, lattice towers, guyed structures, and complex foundation systems. The ideal candidate will bring experience serving as Engineer of Record and possess expertise in historical and modern structural materials. This includes legacy wood systems, historic steel fabrication methods, high-strength steels, composites, and foundation technologies.This engineer will work closely with clients, PMs, and technical teams to deliver transmission infrastructure solutions while mentoring engineers. Strong communication skills, leadership capabilities, and a passion for shaping engineering standards and developing talent are critical for success in this role. The position offers significant technical influence, opportunities for industry recognition through conference presentations and publications, and the ability to help build and grow a highly respected transmission engineering practice.
