{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"22af31bfafa1acf1e5ac2041","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/22af31bfafa1acf1e5ac2041","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/22af31bfafa1acf1e5ac2041","title":"SQL Developer","description":"LOCATION: ATLANTA, GEORGIA\nPosition Duties\nDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable database objects (queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, views).\nGenerate and update Database model(s) and diagrams.\nDetermine and communicate the implications of system-level decisions on subsystems and components, and help determine how best to mitigate or take advantage of these implications.\nMaintain data dictionary.\nWork with Data Science and Product engineering teams and address database requirements.\nExtract, analyze, transform & load client data in different formats/sources to database.\nPerform unit and system level testing on database objects.\nHelp maintain code quality and organization.\nEnsures database performance, integrity, security, availability and compatibility with existing features.\nDesign automation scripts to provide end-user support and regular maintenance to the databases.\nEnsure all database servers backups in a way that meets the business’s Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).\nTest backups to ensure we can meet the business’s Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).\nTroubleshoot SQL Server service outages as they occur, including after-hours and weekends.\nInstall and configure new SQL Servers instances, patches and hot fixes.\nPlan and execute SQL server implementations, server-to-server migrations.\nDocument database environment changes and process implementations.\nCreate maintenance plans and monitor maintenance jobs.\nRequirements\nThe successful candidates must have a degree of Computer Science or related field.\nExcellent SQL skills for complex data analysis and data quality assurance.\nHands-on experience with table spaces, indexes, partitions, and query performance tuning.\nKnowledge to mapping multiple data sources from various data formats and normalizing the data into SQL repositories.\nCreate and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical database models.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\n1-3 years of SQL Developer experience; 1-2 year(s) of SQL DBA experience.\nPosition available in our Atlanta, Georgia office.
