Join our mission to continuously move science forward; to innovate and advance all aspects of our business to improve the health and safety of our communities and lives.OverviewThis lab-based role will provide hands-on support for Biopharma Analytical Technical Development by executing critical experiments, advancing the science of animal health.Compensation: $ 21.00 - $25.00 per hourResponsibilities:Execute sample testing using basic analytical tools including, but not limited to, RP-HPLC, SEC, icIEF, CE-SDS, and ELISAOrganize, interpret, and present experimental data to peers to support project advancementDesign, execute, analyze, and evaluate experiments that meet R&D product development objectivesEnsure experiments are well designed and documented with clear objectivesTechnically manage small-scale laboratory projects as requiredIdentify process improvement opportunities through data analysis, observation, and technical report writing in collaboration with senior scientists and techniciansOrganize and execute routine experimental work in accordance with established methods, SOPs, and applicable regulatory guidelinesEnsure high-quality data and documentation practices by authoring technical reports and contributing to the creation of SOPsIndependently operate and perform basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment relevant to assigned workRecognize and communicate atypical results/deviations and support investigation and resolution as neededAccurately document work in batch records and/or electronic laboratory notebooksCollaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to share key learnings to advance portfolio projects and drive new platform innovationsAble to adapt to new procedures and evolving project needs in a dynamic R&D environmentMaintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory work environment and encourage safe behaviors by coworkersContributes to a cohesive team environment and maintains a positive attitudeQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry preferredBachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline will also be consideredStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, technical curiosity, and high learning agilityAbility to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teamsEffective written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting technical dataSolid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver results.Demonstrated ownership with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficientlyInterest in pharmaceutical science and drug product manufacturing, with a willingness to learn and grow in this areaAdditional Preferences:Hands-on experience with basic analytical tools (RP-HPLC, SEC, icIEF, CE-SDS, and ELISA)Previous experience in analytical development.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.Find Your Place at Pace - We need you - your curiosity, your talents, and your drive - to help us advance this important work.Benefits: When you join Pace®, you commit to work that makes a positive impact on our communities and our world.
