The Technician provides timely response to clients’ requests for day-to-day coordination of small to mid-size furniture moves, space reconfigurations and repair/maintenance of client’s furniture and building amenities.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities Including but not limited to:\n\nSame day response for light general handyman tasks\nTransport Lab equipment and furniture from campus to and from warehouse\nSupport and deploy lab shipments in partnership with other teams\nLab space, conference room, and other common area audits\nImplement daily work requests/tickets\nAdhere to client security protocol requirements.\nAct as an escort as needed\nLifting and/or moving heavy equipment and/or furniture on a regular basis.\n\nSkills, Knowledge, Experience Required\n\nProven leadership skills and the ability to take on initiatives with minimal oversight.\nProven ability to improve customer experience and build brand loyalty.\nAdept in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.\nExcellent and effective at oral and written communication.\nAbility to see the big picture and integrate into day-to-day tasks and activities.\nFluid interpersonal and collaborative skills to interact effectively with a wide range of personnel and departments.\nStrong organizational, administrative skills.\nDemonstrate commitment to professionalism, integrity and sound judgement in business transactions to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.\nMust have strong work ethics.\nExperience in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).\nValid driver’s license. Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.\nComfortable driving 16’ and 24’ vehicles.\nProven mechanical aptitude and equipment handling\nCommercial moving experience a plus\n\nThe anticipated salary range for this role is $22.00 - 28.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity.\n\nAcknowledgement\n\nThis job description is designed to outline the essential job functions and qualifications of this position.
