This position supports production efficiency and product quality by minimizing errors and ensuring consistency. The role requires effective focus, precision, and adherence to quality.Expected Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMDuties/Responsibilities:Operate winding machines used in the production of film capacitorsSet up machines for each job, including materials, speed, temperature, pressure, and winding turnsLoad and thread materials through machines according to setup requirementsMonitor multiple machines during operation to ensure consistent performanceInspect product during production to ensure compliance with specificationsCut, separate, and process finished material according to work instructionsTrack and record production output and scrap accuratelyMaintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedureRequired Skills, Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED requiredAbility to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic mechanical adjustments as neededDemonstrated ability to work independently, identify problems, and implement effective adjustmentsProven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced production environmentExceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain focus and execute precision-based tasks consistentlyWillingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the roleStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate maintenance activities around production schedulesProficiency in using measuring tools such as microscopes, calipers, and other precision instrumentsAbility to read and interpret winder setup sheets and work order instructions accuratelySelf-motivated with strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting production timelinesExperience identifying environmental, health, and safety risks and implementing corrective actionsStrong organizational and time management skillsTeam-oriented mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach to workFlexibility to learn and perform additional roles as neededPerform other duties as assignedPhysical Demands:Ability to lift up to 20+ pounds, and work on equipment at floor levelAble to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and setup winders.Prolonged standing on hard surfaces during shiftFrequent bending, stooping, or kneeling to access winders, or materials.Manual dexterity and ability to handle small tools, parts, and winders with precision.Visual acuity for reading measurements, instructions, and monitoring equipment.Hearing ability to detect alarms, machinery sounds, or verbal instructions in a noisy environment.
