Specifically, this requisition seeks a full-time permanent staff position to coordinate and supervise large projects in the area.What You’ll DoManagement and direction of an archaeological field crewAbility to coordinate with senior staff on a daily, weekly basisOversee artifact analysisCarry out post-field technical writingExperience in supervising archaeological crewsStrong excavation skills, experience running a data recovery operationAt least four years of Southwestern region experienceStrong writing and verbal skills to include the ability to prepare cultural resource reportsDemonstrated understanding of federal and state regulatory processesExperience with GPS and Total Station data collectionWhat You’ll BringGraduate degree required in anthropology, history, or related fieldArchaeological experience in Southwest US is required; permitted candidates on federal and state land mandatoryProven leadership abilities and excellent communication skillsWell-developed organizational skills as well previous data recovery experience are required for this positionProficient in GIS, Excel, Microsoft WordStrong team player with the ability to collaborate effectivelyMust possess and maintain an active and valid driver's license without restrictionsWillingness to commit to the life of the projectSuccessful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screenComply with company drug and alcohol policyBe authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate’s start dateLocation RequirementsThe position will be located in El Paso, TX with potential travel.CompensationExpected Salary: $64,000 – $74,000 per yearVersar Global Solutions is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the Company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
