Other Requirements Excellent organizational skills, oral and written skills, time management, and telephone skills. Understand and support the District's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan. Position Details Salary Schedule Certified Employed for a period of Teacher Contract + 10 Days Evaluation Process Annual Performance Review Reports to Building Principal & Assistant Superintendent of Students ServicesRegular, consistent attendance expectedLeave policies, and fringe benefits as stated in Board policiesWork cooperatively with administrators and staff throughout the districtDress professionally in a manner that will not interfere with the education environment Responsibilities and ExpectationsConduct staff development in effective instructional strategies.Collaborate with teacher and other instructional staff to develop curriculum materials and lesson planning.Follow a plan for professional learning and actively seek out opportunities to grow professionally.Implement best practices related to instruction and technology use in the school program based on research, pilot programs, and state/national standards.Work with the building principal and school PLC leadership team to provide access to resources and services of the Instructional Coach at point of need.Work with teachers and technology staff in the selection of resources that are compatible with the school technology infrastructure.Promote family, business, and community partnerships that support the academic success, career readiness, and general well-being of all children in the district.Adhere to and communicate copyright, as well as other, laws and guidelines pertaining to the distribution and ethical use of all resources.Work with the Curriculum Specialists in effective decision making to promote instructional programs.Collaborate with administrators, teachers, technology staff, and students to analyze and select resources addressing curricular needs and learning goals.Lead in the ongoing analysis of the effectiveness of instructional programs.Prepare and submit accurate reports as required.Carry out non-instructional duties as assigned and/or as needed to ensure student safety.Conduct assigned activities from the administration, in conformity with the approved policies of the Board of Education, the regulations of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and state and federal laws.Participate cooperatively with the building principal in performance evaluations as stated in the district's policies/procedures.
