Implements ongoing improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste, water consumption, and energy use.\nProcess Management: Facilitate the implementation of the safety management system process to enhance safety and environmental performance. Support the development and execution of cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMonitoring: Monitor operational processes and employee activities.\nTraining: Provide comprehensive training to employees concerning the relevant regulatory standards applicable to the facility. Confirm the completion of ISO 14001 and other pertinent regulatory training courses.\nRisk Assessment: Ensure that all job functions undergo comprehensive risk assessments employing Safety Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (SFMEA). Implement suitable measures to mitigate risks, including engineering controls whenever feasible. Confirm that all essential personal protective equipment has been identified and is utilized as mandated.\nCompliance: Ensure compliance with all EHS-related laws and regulations. Maintain injury records and post safety-related information as required. Maintain written programs to ensure they are up to date. Complete all safety and environmental-related testing as needed. Inspect property, equipment, and work practices for compliance with regulatory standards through internal auditing.\nCommunication: Assist in the completion of internal incident notifications following company policy. Ensure all hazardous areas and conditions are identified and communicated to employees using appropriate visual and audio techniques. Interface with external regulatory contacts (Federal, State, and Local) as necessary.
