Stocks received material, picks materials, components and end products and delivers to customers. Performs cycle counts. Fills orders and supplies subcontract parts. Handles special projects, as assigned.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or educational equivalent\nEntry level position\nPay: 18/hr\nOvertime available\nEssential Functions\nLoads and unloads trucks\nAccurately counts materials coming in and going out of warehouse\nPerforms preventative maintenance on forklift and/or additional equipment at warehouse\nCleans and maintains warehouse\nResponsible for quality control of products/materials\nPackages finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling, etc.)\nStages finished product for loading\nParticipates in emergency response drills\nOther duties as assigned by Supervisor\nStay current in all position training programs\nFollow Newpark and OSHA rules and policies\nEffectively interact with all levels within the organization as well as vendors, customers, and industry professions in a professional and dignified manner\nAble to be on call for 24 hours/day\nAble to work 10–12 hour shifts\nEffectively perform maintenance on all equipment, perform routine and/or non-routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed\nNon-Essential Job Functions\nAbility to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos\nPossess basic written communication skills\nAbility to apply concepts of basic math\nBasic PC skills\nThe work environment can be very fast paced and noisy.
