Operations Officer- Mission Support Koniag IT Systems, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Operations Officer- Mission Support with an active TS/SCI security clearance to support KITS and our government customer in Falls Church, VA. The Operations Officer provides day-to-day operational leadership and execution control for Department of Defense programs. Although contractor-executed, this role functions as an FTE-equivalent Operations Officer, ensuring unity of effort across Government and contractor teams.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Operations, Management, Military Studies, National Security, or related field.7-9 years (Mid) or 10+ years (Senior) experience in DoD operations, planning, program execution, or mission coordination roles.Demonstrated ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environments with competing priorities. - Experience establishing and managing project schedules, execution tracking, and risk registers.Strong leadership presence with the ability to translate senior intent into executable tasking.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior Government leadership.Responsibilities:Direct and synchronize daily program operations across functional teams.Establish and manage program battle rhythm, stand-ups, and execution reviews.Translate leadership intent into actionable tasking and priorities.Identify, track, and mitigate operational risks and execution issues.Serve as the primary operational coordination point with Government leadership and mission partners.Prepare operational briefs, SITREPs, and decision-support materials.Clearance Requirement:TS/SCI security clearanceOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy The company is an equal opportunity employer.
