The Engineering Project Coordinator will communicate engineering schedules with contract managers and sales teams to ensure company-wide alignment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in Agile project management tools such as Jira or Shortcut, with the ability to manage timelines, Gantt charts, and cross-team coordination in a fast-growing engineering environment.\nWhat You'll Do:\nProject Planning & Coordination\nPartner with the SVP of Engineering and engineering leads to coordinate engineering project schedules and priorities.\nDevelop and maintain project timelines, Gantt charts, and milestone tracking across multiple engineering initiatives.\nTrack deliverables, dependencies, and risks across engineering teams.\nMonitor project progress and proactively identify schedule risks or blockers.\nAgile Project Management\nManage and maintain project workflows within Agile project management tools (Jira, Shortcut, or similar).\nAssist teams with sprint planning, backlog organization, and roadmap tracking.\nSupport engineering leadership with capacity planning and resource tracking.\nProcess Development & Implementation\nDesign and implement scalable processes for a growing engineering organization.\nStandardize project tracking, reporting, and documentation practices.\nImprove cross-team coordination and communication through structured workflows.\nReporting & Communication\nFacilitate coordination between engineering leads and cross-functional stakeholders.\nEnsure transparency in timelines, risks, and dependencies.\nOperational Support for Engineering Leadership\nProvide organizational and operational support to the SVP of Engineering.\nAssist with planning and coordination of engineering initiatives and strategic projects.\nHelp establish best practices for project governance and execution.\nWhat You'll Need:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n3+ years of experience in project coordination, technical program management, or engineering operations.\nProficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Shortcut, Asana, or similar platforms.\nStrong experience managing timelines, milestones, Gantt charts, and project schedules.\nExcellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.\nYou'll Stand Out:\nExperience working within engineering or technical product development teams.\nFamiliarity with hardware, software, or systems engineering development cycles.\nExperience implementing process improvements in growing engineering organizations.\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive salary\nACS Equity Package\nHealth, Dental, Vision Insurance\nPaid Time Off\nAllen Control Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer, providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
