This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.\n\nSynchronize and coordinate activities with external teams, providing evaluation and feedback on all coordination efforts.\nCoordinate work across internal and external stakeholder teams, documenting outcomes, assessing progress, and communicating feedback.\nMaintain active coordination with project stakeholders, tracking dependencies and incorporating evaluations and feedback into ongoing activities.\nDevelop troubleshooting and support-system training for network administrators and operators.\nCreate concise quick-start guides and training materials for mission partners and end users.\nSupport formal change management activities and participate in applicable configuration control boards.\nAssess, prototype, and test emerging technologies for potential integration into the DISN environment and future capability enhancements.\nPlan and conduct verification and validation activities for the deployment, installation, and operational transition of network infrastructure and supporting enterprise tools.\nIdentify opportunities to improve network performance and provide sound technical recommendations to the program engineering team.\nResearch, assess, and validate emerging technologies for potential incorporation into program system capabilities.\nConduct testing, verification, and validation activities supporting infrastructure deployment, installation, and transition into operational service.\nAdminister and sustain laboratory components at DISA Fort Meade, including patching, baseline management, system maintenance, and lifecycle support.\nQualifications:\nRequires BS in Engineering (or a related discipline) and 5-10 years of prior relevant experience.\nExperience performing requirements analysis\nExperience supporting cross-functional teams\nSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment\nStrong written and oral communication skills\nStrong customer relation skills\n\nDesired Experience and Skills\n\nExperience supporting, or strong familiarity with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) networks and services.\nExperience with ITIL service delivery concepts and best practices.\nExperience with change, configuration and performance management NetOps concepts.\nExperience with network layered encryption topologies and methodologies.\nFamiliarity with system security, design, and architecture.\n\nEssential Requirements:\n\nUS Citizenship is required\nSecret clearance required\n\nAdditional Information:\nIn compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed.
