The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and implementing cloud best practices and automation tooling for an Air Force Oracle EBS.\nResponsibilities:\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.\nConfigure and manage CI/CD tool set for Oracle EBS solution.\nDevelop and drive real time observability solutions that provide visibility into system health.\nBrainstorm for new ideas and ways to improvement software/data delivery.\nSupport deployment and monitoring of intrusion detection and vulnerability scanning system.\nDesign and implement build, deployment, and configuration management.\nBuild and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and operations\nBuild and test Oracle EBS pipelines\nDiagnose and develop fixes to implement quickly and efficiently for production incidents.\nProvide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on cloud operations best practices.\nPerform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Service Incidents\nSet up intelligent application performance alerts (AIOps)\nProactively meet standards for information security and compliance in close cooperation with the Security Operations and Compliance teams\nAutomate back-up and restore capabilities\nGive advice and guidance as a subject matter expert on Oracle EBS technical\nOracle EBS solution Architecture\nOracle Database\nReal Application Clusters\nGovernance Risk & Compliance\nOracle Discoverer\nUser Productivity Kit\nService Oriented Architecture (SOA) suite\nBPEL\nOracle Single Sign-on\nOracle Access Manager\nOracle Internet Directory\nApplication Development Framework\nOracle Data Integrator\nOracle OEM\nFusion Middleware\nOBIEE\nFlex Deploy\nGroovy programming language\nQualifications:\nQUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nRequired (Minimum) Qualifications\n20 total years experience in Development, Operations, or other related IT areas\n15+ years overall experience covering application development, architecture, quality assurance and production support\n15+ years industry experience in DevOps architecture related to Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions and platform automation\n10+ years of experience in software delivery leadership in an Agile & DevOps practice, with roles of increasing responsibility, and shown experience developing and leading enterprise initiatives.\n10+ years of technology experience, leading DevOps architectural designs.\n3+ years of experience handling application build, configuration management, deployment & release engineering\nMust be a U.S. citizen.\nHave favorably adjudicated Tier 5 Investigation.\nHold a minimum of Security + certification or other qualification that meets DoD-8140 requirements\nMust have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics\nExperience with On-Prem and/or cloud infrastructure provisioning, automation, and support\nExperience with all aspects of Oracle EBS\nRelease automation, (e.g., Jenkins), system administration, system configuration, and system debugging experience.\nExperience with Logging and Monitoring tools for Oracel\nExperience with scripting in Groovy, Python, Ruby, JSON, Go or Bash.\nExperience with large-scale, distributed COTS solutions deployed on AWS.\n\nPreferred\nSystem level architecture experience is a plus, preferably in cloud and distributed environment platform.\nExperience with going through a cloud regulatory certification.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
