We are growing rapidly and are looking for dedicated, hardworking people seeking career opportunities. We offer 100% paid tuition, a generous paid time off package and a “safety-first” work environment.\n\nThe Material Handler will operate forklifts and other industrial vehicles. They will be moving materials throughout the plant to fulfill manufacturing needs. Additionally, he/she will comply with all safety rules and procedures.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nUnload and stack materials by raising and lowering lifting device.\nInventory materials on the work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.\nLoad or unload materials onto or off of trucks for shipment and receipt.\nMaintain general upkeep of fork truck and replace fuel as necessary.\nMust be willing to perform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\n\nEducation\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.\nSpecialized Knowledge and Experience\n\nAt least one year of manufacturing experience is required.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.\nMust be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nMust be dependable, able to meet attendance, overtime, and other scheduling requirements.\nMust be able to perform work safely, including utilization of all required personal protective equipment. At a minimum, this includes safety glasses and steel-toed shoes.\nMust be able to work in extreme weather conditions (hot or cold).\nPassion for delivering quality work and practicing continuous improvement.\nSkills and Abilities\n\nOther Skills\n\nStrong organizational skills.\nExcellent attention to detail.\nHighest degree of honesty and integrity.\nSelf-starter that is results, action oriented.\nInteracts professionally, appropriately and courteously with co-workers and management; treats everyone with respect and dignity.\nPhysical Requirements\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
