Ability to research, test, build, and coordinate integration per government requirements.\r\nThe position requires you to be on site 5 days a week at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB).\r\nThe position requires an active TS/SCI clearance; TS/SCI with polygraph preferred.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nWe are looking for a flexible software developer that has experience delivering web solutions for the federal government, is comfortable developing in multiple languages, experienced on both front and backend, microservices, and API development.\r\nAbility to work with the government lead to develop solutions, interface designs, and architecture of websites.\r\nThis role requires you to be familiar with Agile development methodologies.\r\nWe prefer candidates that are unafraid to tackle new technologies and stretch their competencies to areas of development that they may not have encountered before.\r\nResponsible for updating and creating customized web applications that may include Tableau Dashboards. You will be implementing software code and debugging technical issues.\r\nAbility to research, test, build, and coordinate integration per government requirements. Work with government lead to develop site concept.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in a related discipline (Or associates with 8+ years experience)\r\nThis position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. Applicants with TS/SCI who are eligible for polygraph are encouraged to apply and will be sponsored for upgrade.\r\n5+ years of software development experience\r\nExperience in frontend and/or backend web application development.\r\nBackend: professional experience with at least one backend language to include C#, Java, Python, Go\r\nFrontend: professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, using APIs, design, CSS, HTML, React\r\nStrong SQL skills, or ORMs\r\nSelf-motivated, able to take loose requirements and turn into solutions\r\nWillingness to reach out for guidance as well as offer alternative solutions\r\nExperience using version control with Gitlab or GitHub\r\nComfortable interacting with developers and non-developers to solve technical challenges and requirements\r\nComfortable troubleshooting existing applications as well as creating new applications or features\r\nClear and frequent communication\r\nProficient in relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Dynamo, Postgres, and MongoDB, etc. to include schema design, data definition, and advanced queries.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nFull stack experience\r\nComfortable using a variety of tech stacks i.e. .net/C#/Windows/SQL Server and Linux/Python/Postgres\r\nSecurity+\r\nModern frontend development for example React/Vue/Solid/Angular\r\nData analytics and data visualization\r\nUI design\r\nAtlassian suite of tools\r\nFamiliar with IA processes and accreditation\r\nMeet DOD 8570 certification requirements (Security+) willing to get if not have already.\r\nUI Path would be nice\r\nTarget salary range: $165,000 - $185,000\r\nDisclaimer\r\nThe salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
