If that is you, please apply!\nAbout the Role\nAs a Data Center Deployment Project Manager, you will drive the on-the-ground execution that brings data halls and AI/GPU clusters online. You will pick up as commissioning ramps — around L2/L3 Cx — and own deployment through to operational turnover, coordinating across construction handover, infrastructure, networking, hardware, and operations teams to keep every deployment on schedule and ready for go-live.\nThis role is built for someone with an ownership mindset who wants to grow into full-lifecycle AI infrastructure delivery. You will own the deployments assigned to you day to day: tracking milestones, running the deployment runbook, holding vendors and contractors accountable on site, and surfacing risks before they become blockers. You are accountable for the delivery of the clusters you own.\nYou might come from data center construction project management, commissioning (CxA), hyperscale deployment or installation coordination, MEP/electrical project delivery, or hardware and network deployment. If you have a strong delivery track record, technical curiosity, and the drive to own outcomes — we want to meet you!\nResponsibilities\nOwn deployment execution for assigned data halls and AI/GPU clusters, from commissioning readiness (L2/L3 Cx) through operational turnover\nTrack and drive deployment milestones, critical-path tasks, and go/no-go criteria, keeping schedules and runbooks current and accurate\nCoordinate on-site activities spanning construction handover, infrastructure, ICT/low-voltage, CDU/DLC, hardware installation, and network bring-up\nManage and hold accountable OEM/ODM vendors, integration contractors, and third-party service providers throughout active deployment\nConfirm commissioning and hardware-validation steps are completed and documented before handoff — burn-in, network validation, and GPU/TPU health checks\nOwn a clean operational handoff: acceptance criteria, as-built documentation, runbooks, and turnover to the operations team\nSurface risks, blockers, and schedule slips early, and escalate with proposed options rather than problems alone\nMaintain clear program artifacts: schedules, task trackers, risk and issue logs, punch lists, and handoff checklists\nProvide regular, clear status updates on deployment health, risks, and milestones to program leads and stakeholders\nCollaborate with SMEs across networking, ICT, systems engineering, procurement, and operations — validating plans before executing, not in isolation\nContribute to the SOPs, runbooks, and process improvements that make each subsequent deployment faster and more repeatable\nBasic Qualifications\n3–5 years delivering data center, infrastructure, or large-scale hardware deployment projects — construction, commissioning, MEP, or IT/network deployment backgrounds are all welcome\nWorking understanding of the data center delivery lifecycle and how construction handover, commissioning, and hardware/network deployment fit together\nFamiliarity with commissioning levels (L2–L5) and what it takes to move a data hall from systems testing to deployment- and operations-ready\nExposure to AI/GPU or high-density compute infrastructure — or a solid foundation in data center power, cooling, and networking with the drive to come up to speed quickly\nDemonstrated ability to own a project or workstream end to end: tracking milestones, managing dependencies, and driving tasks to completion\nExperience coordinating vendors, contractors, or cross-functional teams on active project or construction sites\nComfortable operating with ambiguity and evolving requirements in a fast-moving environment\nStrong organizational and communication skills — able to keep schedules, trackers, and stakeholders aligned\nOwnership mindset: you take initiative, fill gaps, and follow through to the outcome rather than waiting to be told\nWilling and able to travel to data center locations, sometimes on short notice (up to 50–60% travel during active deployments)\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience on hyperscale or AI/ML cluster deployments (B100/B200/H100-class or GPU clusters)\nHands-on exposure to commissioning — CxA support, integrated systems testing (IST), or functional performance testing\nFamiliarity with direct liquid cooling (DLC), CDU/sidecar, or immersion cooling\nExperience with high-performance networking (InfiniBand, RoCE) or structured cabling / ICT\nProficiency with project tracking and workflow tools (Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project, or similar)\nFamiliarity with DCIM, BMS, or CMDB tools (NetBox, Sunbird, Nlyte, or similar)\nExposure to long-lead procurement, logistics, or material coordination during deployment (receiving, cycle counting, site-to-site transfers)\nExperience contributing to SOPs, runbooks, or process documentation\nRelevant certifications, or active progress toward them:\nPMP or CAPM (Project Management Institute)\nDCD (Data Center Dynamics) — any track\nCDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) — EPI / GAQM\nCDCPM / CDCMP (Uptime Institute / CNet Training)\nBICSI RCDD or DCDC (Data Center Design Consultant)\nITIL Foundation — relevant to operational handoff and service management\nLean or Six Sigma — relevant to SOP development and process improvement\nSalary & Benefits\nCompetitive total compensation package (salary + equity).\nRetirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance.\nGenerous PTO policy, in line with local norms.\nThe base salary range for this position is $235,000 - $260,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
