Police Officer (Part Time)

The Tremont Police Department is seeking applicants for a part time police officer position. Applicants should be interested in working for a small community and have a strong focus on community policing. Applicants must be willing to work weekends and night shifts and be flexible with their schedule. Any investigative experience is highly desired, but not required. Part time officers are required to work 100 hours a year, but not exceed 1000 hours a year per IMRF requirements. Applicants must: *Hold a certificate as a full time or part time Police Officer in the State of Illinois. Starting pay $24.00+ an hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
