{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"21fd4e66d9083ea8e0658cee","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/21fd4e66d9083ea8e0658cee","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/21fd4e66d9083ea8e0658cee","title":"Reliability Engineer II","description":"Job Title\nReliability Engineer II\n\nPosition Details\nLocation: Mounds View, Minnesota 55112\nDuration: 12 months\nPay rate: $45–$50/HR (W2)\n\nResponsibilities\n\nSetup and execution of test methods for test method validation or design verification.\n\nReport writing and approval.\n\nReview of design, manufacturing, and supplier change orders.\n\nPerform reliability activities such as design verification, reliability testing, test method validation.\n\nDevelop, coordinate, and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (DOE) constructs.\n\nRecommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.\n\nComplete risk analysis studies of new or existing design and processes.\n\nCompile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics; investigate and analyze variables that may affect product and process reliability.\n\nEnsure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards.\n\nAnalyze preliminary plans and develop reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer, and governmental agency reliability objectives.\n\nDevelop mathematical models to identify units, batches, or processes posing excessive failure risks.\n\nPropose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability.\n\nDetermine units and/or batches requiring environmental testing and specify minimum number of samples for statistically valid data.\n\nDeliver and oversee projects from design to implementation, ensuring adherence to policies and using specialized knowledge.\n\nRequirements\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a technical field with at least 1 year of work experience in Engineering and/or Quality.\n\nExperience in reliability testing, design verification, test method validation.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to work cooperatively as part of a cross‑functional team.\n\nNice to Have\n\n1+ years of medical device industry experience.\n\nFamiliar with FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and EU MDR (EU 217/745).\n\nFamiliarity with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and IEC 60601 standards.\n\nKnowledge of client office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Windows OS.\n\nProducts Supported\nAffera disposable products: Sphere‑9, Tubing Set, and Extension Cable.\n\nExperience\nTarget years of experience: 2–4 years.\n\nStart Date\nAs soon as possible.
