The Facilities Tech will be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and efficiencies throughout the site - i.e. common space, conference rooms, supply closets management. Additional responsibilities for the Facilities Technician include:\n\nAdditional Responsibilities:\n\nInspect the office space - identifying facility, janitorial, and safety issues.\nBuild and assemble desks, pedestal filing cabinets, and chairs.\nManage furniture keys post assembly.\nPerform minor furniture repairs.\nInstall risers for multiple monitors and under desk keyboard trays.\nManage storage spaces - install shelving units, maintain organization of supplies and equipment.\nLog and manage work orders for the facility.\nSet up conference rooms based on client requests.\nMove tables and chairs to prepare for different conference room set ups.\nClean conference rooms before and after use - wiping down tables, chairs, and glass doors; removing unused items; and setting furniture to original condition.\nClean offices that are designated for visiting team members - wiping down surfaces, arranging furniture, entering work orders for required additional work.\nSchedule and manage vendors when they come in to do work.\nCoordinate moves - pack boxes with employee desk belongings, label, and move to destination.\nAssist employees with moves in the office - getting boxes for the employee to pack up and moving the box to new desk.\nCoordinate moves with MAC manager and moving company.\nManage onsite locker assignments.\nRequirements:\n\n2 years of maintenance tech experience in a professional office environment.\nAbility to use power tools and build office furniture.\nAbility to read manuals, instructions, safety rules, drawings, diagrams and follow instructions in the use and maintenance of tools and equipment.\nExcellent attention to detail and great follow through.\nDemonstrates sound judgment and ability to make independent decisions in routine situations.
