As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will support day-to-day production operations while gaining hands-on experience in manufacturing, inventory management, quality, and process improvement. Responsibilities include receiving and organizing incoming materials, performing inventory transactions, verifying inventory accuracy, completing kitting requests, and conducting incoming inspections. You will also assist in documenting standard operating procedures for inventory, incoming inspection, packaging, and shipping processes, ensuring clear, standardized workflows and work instructions for production.\nIn addition, you will support a variety of manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including obtaining quotes and ordering production equipment and materials, organizing the production area using 5S principles, assisting with nonconforming material (NCMR) activities, creating build documentation, capturing and organizing production records, conducting Gemba walks to identify improvement opportunities, and generating process documentation.
