The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting calculations and analyses to support the design of prefabricated structures. This will involve using advanced engineering techniques and software to evaluate the strength and stability of these structures, as well as ensuring that they meet all relevant codes and regulations.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nConduct calculations and analyses for prefabricated (pre‑engineered) structures.\n\nDesign and review structural components, including steel, wood, and hybrid construction.\n\nUtilize engineering software (e.g., CAD, RISA, other structural design tools) and Microsoft Excel for analysis and markup.\n\nCommunicate and collaborate with engineering, sales, estimating, and production teams.\n\nEnsure designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and client requirements.\n\nQualifications\n\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license (preferred but not mandatory). Candidates with BSE and PE license or EIT progressing toward PE may be considered.\n\nStrong background in structural calculations for steel, wood, and prefabricated buildings.\n\nExperience with component calculations, roofing, sheathing, fasteners, and integrated steel chassis.\n\nProficiency in structural design software and Excel for calculations.\n\nAbility to design, review, and submit stamped drawings by an engineer of record.\n\nExcellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary: $110,000 - $140,000 (dependent on experience).
