Collaborating with supportive team members, clients, stakeholders, and contractors, you'll enjoy opportunities to mentor co-workers while progressing your career.\r\nYour purpose\r\nLeading projects – Be the focal commercial point on projects and commissions and managing the client relationship.\r\nCollaboration – Working in the client team and liaising with leadership, project managers, contractors, and internal teams to maintain strong relationships.\r\nCost Management – Monitor and control project costs to ensure the project is delivered within budget. Validate and manage contractor and supplier costs & payments.\r\nReporting – Provide regular financial reports to ensure our clients have confidence in their project outcomes. Present financial performance and risk updates.\r\nProcurement – Undertaking procurement or supporting the procurement team in evaluating and appointing contractors.\r\nContract Administration – Administer various contract types, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions. Manage contract change reviewing validity, quotations and ensuring timely submissions and agreement. Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain accurate and comprehensive project records.\r\nRisk and Value Management – Identify, analyse, and mitigate commercial risks. Assist in value engineering to optimise project performance.\r\nDeveloping Colleagues – Working closely with your team to encourage development and advance your colleagues' career progression.\r\nAbout you\r\nBSc in Quantity Surveying or similar\r\nConversant in pre and post contract quantity surveying duties\r\nNEC4, FIDIC or ICHEME contract experience\r\nUnderstanding of methods of measurement (CESMM4/MMHW)\r\nExperience with civil infrastructure projects (Highways, Water or Rail is desirable but not essential)\r\nA member or working towards the Chartered Institute of Surveyors (RICS) or other recognised equivalent bodies\r\nReward & benefits\r\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
