This role is for a hands-on people leader who loves developing early-career sales talent, building repeatable outbound motions, and partnering closely with Sales and Marketing to drive pipeline.\nYou'll own the day-to-day performance, coaching, and career growth of your team while building the coaching cadence, outbound playbook, and AI-enabled workflows that will define how this function operates as it scales. This is a highly visible role with a direct impact on revenue.\nThis is a hybrid role (2-3 days/week) based in SF.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead, coach, and develop a team of SDRs focused on outbound and inbound pipeline generation\nSet clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable to activity, quality, and pipeline goals\nRun regular 1:1s, call coaching, deal reviews, and team training sessions\nBuild and own a repeatable coaching and enablement cadence, including call reviews, scorecards, roleplays, that shortens ramp time and raises the floor across the team\nPartner closely with Sales leadership to align on ICP, qualification standards, and opportunity quality\nWork with Marketing to operationalize campaigns, events, and account-based plays\nAnalyze SDR performance data to identify trends, coaching opportunities, and process improvements\nHire, onboard, and ramp new SDRs as the team grows\nEvaluate and drive adoption of AI and automation tools that make the team more efficient prospectors\nBuild a strong team culture centered on accountability, continuous improvement, and career progression\nAbout You:\nTo be successful in this role, you:\n2–5+ years of experience in Sales Development, with at least 1–2 years managing SDRs\nProven track record of coaching SDRs to consistently hit or exceed pipeline goals\nStrong outbound experience and opinions on what good prospecting looks like\nData-driven and comfortable using metrics to diagnose performance and coach effectively\nExcellent communicator who can give clear, direct feedback and motivate different personality types\nCollaborative partner to Sales and Marketing, not a siloed operator\nExcited to roll up your sleeves in a fast-growing, evolving environment\nComfortable operating with real ownership, you don't need to have built an outbound playbook from scratch, but you've seen what a mature motion looks like and have a strong point of view on it\nBased in SF/Bay Area\nExperience selling into data, analytics, or technical buyers is a plus\nIn addition to our unique culture, Hex proudly offers a competitive total rewards package, including but not limited to, market-benched salary & equity, comprehensive health benefits, and flexible paid time off.\nThe on-target-earnings (OTE) for this role is: $155,000 - $200,000.\nThe range shown may be a reflection of additional factors such as geographical location and skill ranges/levels we’re open to.
