Sr. Network Engineer III (Wireless)

Position Title: Sr. Network Engineer III (Wireless, RF)Location: Washington, DCTerms: Direct HireClearance Requirements: Top SecretPosition Description:Seeking a highly skilled Sr. Network Engineer III with expertise in wireless technology to support a critical government project. In this role, you will design, deploy, and optimize secure enterprise wireless networks for federal government clients, ensuring mission-critical operations are maintained with maximum reliability. You will operate within an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot RF issues, manage wireless controllers and access points, and implement advanced wireless solutions. Your technical leadership will strengthen the network's security and performance, fostering trust with stakeholders and supporting operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Conduct predictive and physical RF site surveys, analyzing RF propagation and interference.Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise wireless networks supporting 802.11ax and 802.11be standards.Troubleshoot RF interference, coverage gaps, and capacity issues in high-security environments.Support and maintain wireless controllers and access points, including HPE Aruba, Cisco, Ubiquity, and Ericsson solutions.Collaborate in Agile workflows, communicating technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Contribute immediately with minimal onboarding, supporting mission-critical network operations.Ensure compliance with security protocols, integrating wireless solutions with security and endpoint monitoring systems.Maintain strong customer trust through technical excellence, responsiveness, and reliability.Top Requirements:Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (or higher).10+ years of enterprise wireless network engineering experience.Proven expertise in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting complex WiFi environments.Hands-on experience with RF surveys, RF interference mitigation, and performance optimization.Technical certifications such as CWSP, Security+, Network+, CISSP, or CCNP Security.Strong knowledge of RF propagation, interference management, and the latest wireless standards (802.11ax, 802.11be).Experience with Aruba, Cisco, Ubiquity, and Ericsson wireless solutions.Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, security-sensitive environments with minimal ramp-up time.Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 AnnuallyAbout Seneca ResourcesAt Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm-we are your trusted career partner.
