Job Description Maintenance Technicians - 2nd and 3rd shifts Location – Mebane - Alamance - We provide relocation and temporary housing for candidates over 50 miles from the plant. Role Purpose and ValueAs a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining various industrial automation equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems, identifying and resolving any issues that may arisePerform electrical troubleshooting to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctionsConduct mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve problems with machineryTroubleshoot and maintain industrial automation equipment, ensuring optimal performanceCreate and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtimeUtilize hydraulics experience to diagnose and repair hydraulic systemsUtilize PLC programming experience to make necessary adjustments and modifications.Work in a manufacturing environment, collaborating with other team members to achieve production goals To be set up for success, the ideal candidate needs to come with a strong background in:PLC troubleshooting and programmingElectrical and mechanical troubleshooting skillsExperience in creating preventive maintenance plans Machines & technologies you'll use:Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc)Servo MotorsIndustrial Robot (Fanuc, Yaskawa Motoman) Who are we?GKN Automotive is a global leader in conventional, all-wheel, and electrified driveline systems.
