Repair Technician

Description: POSITION SUMMARY The Repair Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing oxygen concentrators, ensuring that these devices meet safety and performance standards. This role requires technical expertise in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, adherence to regulatory guidelines, and strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers. Requirements: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following areas: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair oxygen concentrators, including electrical and mechanical components. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of oxygen concentrators in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Conduct detailed inspections to ensure equipment complies with safety standards and performance regulations. Document and maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used and service performed. Work closely with the delivery teams to ensure timely and efficient repairs. Order and manage inventory of spare parts and tools required for repairs. Stay updated on industry standards, repair techniques, and manufacturer guidelines. Provide basic customer education on equipment care and troubleshooting when necessary. Adhere to company protocols for cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of oxygen concentrators. Additional duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) 3 years of experience in medical equipment repair, preferably with oxygen concentrators. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
