This role requires expertise in all phases from architecture to support, with a strong focus on execution, delivering high-quality implementations in predictable increments while adhering to team processes.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain full-stack applications using Vue.js, Node.js, or similar JavaScript frameworks\nDesign and implement database solutions using PostgreSQL and/or KQL\nContribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex software systems\nIntegrate and manage data APIs with a focus on user security\nCreate scalable architectures for high-performance applications\nImplement solutions across both front-end and back-end environments\nAdapt to changing project needs and take on additional responsibilities as required\nCollaborate and coordinate within the team and with other engineering teams to ensure successful integration, testing, and delivery\nParticipate in Agile development processes\nContinuously improve code quality, system performance, and development practices\nAdditional duties and responsibilities as assigned, needed, or required for the business.\n\nQualifications\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEducation, Experience and Certifications\nBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required\nMaster's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred\nMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in software development, including:\nDesigning and maintaining complex, mission-critical backend solutions using relational databases and APIs.\nCreating and supporting Single Page Applications (SPAs) as a Web Applications programmer\nMinimum 5 years of experience developing technical products in a team environment\nSkills and Abilities\nProficiency in relational database management and API design\nStrong knowledge of web application development and SPA architectures\nStrong ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes of production issues within complex systems\nExperience in creating and performing integration testing\nStrong knowledge of Node.js and Express.js\nWorking knowledge of Azure Cloud environment and tools\nFamiliarity with Azure IoT and Azure Data Explorer (ADX) preferred\nCollaborate effectively with team members through clear oral and written communication\nExperience working within an Agile Project Management Framework\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities\nAbility to understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions\nStrong follow-through and self-starting nature\nAbility to contribute to requirements definition and prioritization of new applications, features, and processes\nAdaptability to evolving technologies and project requirements\nAbility to work well in a high-paced environment, set and meet appropriate deadlines\nRole Classification and Working Conditions\nThis is a salaried, exempt-exempt-level position.
