Server/Food Runner/Host

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for food and customer service, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to the dining area while maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner. Assist servers in ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing and special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Help with food preparation when necessary, including assisting cooks during busy periods. Ensure compliance with food safety standards throughout all stages of food handling. Support banquet operations by setting up tables, serving food, and clearing dishes as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Skills Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure quality service. Experience in banquet settings is a plus, demonstrating ability to manage large groups effectively. Previous experience as a cook or in kitchen operations is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests. Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order tracking is beneficial. Capable of working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
