This individual will work collaboratively with the fellow Cloud Infrastructure Team resources to complete various tasks throughout the service lifecycle of cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructure components.\nThese tasks include designing, implementing and documenting cloud infrastructure components, migrating on-premises systems to cloud services, maintaining the operational effectiveness of the cloud infrastructure, and optimizing performance and capabilities of the cloud infrastructure utilizing a continual service improvement model. The primary objective of these activities is to deliver value, via highly available IT Services, to the member owners of the organization.\nResponsibilities\nWork collaboratively with other IT teams and business units to ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of the cloud systems infrastructure\nParticipate in the planning, design, and implementation of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud-based solutions across multiple cloud providers.\nAssist IT management and project managers in formulating project plans that contain milestones and target completion dates, allow for delivery of requirements on-schedule, and minimize impact to both business units and members.\nCollaborate with business units and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions in support of development and procurement efforts; acquire licensing and software in accordance with established procurement processes.\nDeploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems\nUtilize a Continual Service Improvement model and leading best practices to ensure that proposed and existing cloud systems remain efficient and aligned with organizational goals; recommend optimizations and improvements to achieve those goals and leverage systems to their fullest\nManage hybrid directory and identity services in Microsoft Azure and on-premises ensuring consistent and seamless experiences for users\nManage data systems including RDBMS and Big Data systems to ensure reliability, availability and security of the data contained therein\nManage backup and recovery solutions to meet established RTO’s and RPO’s\nDesign and conduct business continuity tests for cloud and on-premises systems in accordance with established testing schedules\nProduce automated reports, dashboards, and metrics to aid in the monitoring of cloud systems\nServe internal and external members by demonstrating technical leadership throughout the organization by delivering IT solutions in a timely and effective manner\nIncrease visibility into project statuses by providing regular updates which highlight incremental advances and overall progress towards meeting established commitments\nProvide guidance, training and mentoring for new Cloud Infrastructure staff\nUse cloud tools to track cloud expenditures and ensure costs stay within budgetary limits\nAdhere to IT asset management policies and assist Information Security in monthly reconciliation efforts\nComplete problem management processes in accordance with service level agreements\nComplete request fulfillment processes in accordance with service level agreements\nRemains cognizant of and adheres to organizations' policies and procedures\nQualifications Required\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nExperience (minimum 7 years) with systems infrastructure planning, security principles, and general IT service management best practices\nExperience (minimum 2 years) implementing and managing cloud systems on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and/or Google Cloud\nWorking knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies\nExperience installing, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft Windows server environments\nExperience managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management systems\nStrong organization and project management skills\nExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills\nAble to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment\nStrong member service orientation\nMust be able to work M-F 8-4:30\nPreferred\nExperience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux server environments\nIT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, Cloud platforms, or other IT related fields\nExperience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python\nFamiliarity with cloud CLIs and APIs\nFamiliarity with the Okta platform\nExperience configuring and maintaining the ServiceNow platform\nExperience with Cohesity and Zerto applications\nWorking knowledge of database technologies, including Microsoft SQL server, MySQL, and/or Cloud relational databases\nJob Type: Contract\nPay: $50.00 -
