With additional experience and demonstrated capabilities, the individual is expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex project controls assignments.\nUnderstands EPC work process and dependencies between functions. Develop project risk analysis skills.\nScheduling:\nFacilitates the development and maintenance of the Level I/II schedule.\nLeads in schedule development and maintenance, including fragnet identification and resource leveling.\nLeads critical path and float analysis reporting.\nDevelops and maintains earned value reports.\nGains understanding of key cost control processes.\nSkills:\nScheduling Software: Mastery of Primavera P6 is essential\nCritical Path Method (CPM)Analysis: Deep understanding of network diagrams, leads, lags, and identifying the exact sequence of activities that drive the project end date\nEarned Value Management (EVM): The ability to link schedule progress with cost data to measure the actual performance of the project against its baseline\nWork Breakdown Structure (WBS): Skill in breaking large, complex projects down into smaller, manageable, and trackable components\nRisk Analysis & Forecasting: Identifying potential schedule delays and evaluating both threats and opportunities to project\nChange Management: The ability to trace, document, and quantify the impact of changes in project scope on the overall timeline.\nResource Allocation: Strategically assigning labor, equipment, and materials to ensure maximum efficiency without causing bottlenecks\nEducation:\nFour-year Bachelor's degree with six or more years of relevant Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with eight years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.\nPrefer four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.\nAbout Us\nOTSI is a global technology partner providing enterprise IT consulting, digital solutions, and managed services.
